What a sweetie! I hope you are both doing great!

  2. Cascia August 5, 2009

We are doing alright so far. This is my first C section and let me tell you recovery after a C section is a lot harder. My incisions are very painful and the pain medication makes me drowsy. I can not drive and moving around is painful as well. But I am trying to get back to work as quickly as possible.

CJ is wonderful. He is a really good baby and only fusses if he wants to be held or is hungry. Holding him while working is very challenging.

Thank you for visiting and commenting. I will try very hard to visit all of you as well.

OH what a cutie… Cascia glad to hear you both are doing good.. Hope that the C section recovery is quick.. I haven't had one but heard that it's not all that wonderful… Soon you won't even remember any of the pain when you look into that handsome wee face..
Btw the Dr. appointment was as I figured.. We got a referral to go see another specialist (sigh) and then later this month we have another vcug and visit.. keeping fingers crossed

  8. Brimful Curiosities August 5, 2009

So adorable! Congrats and hope you recover quickly! So far I've managed to avoid c-section but several friends have struggled through them and survived. Those first few weeks are hard enough with a normal delivery. Hopefully you have some good help!

He is just gorgeous! Congrats 🙂 I had all c sections so I know what you are going through. Hang in there – it will get better quickly. Just don't overdo it! Let me know if you need anything or have any questions. After five c sections I'm pretty much a pro! LOL

Congrats. That is awesome. He is a beautiful baby. Glad you're both doing well. Both of mine were c sections so that's all I know.

    He is so precious.

  20. Tiaras August 6, 2009

He's beautiful – and I feel for you girlie with the C-sect – the first one is the worst – especially if you were not expecting it! Take it easy and dO nothing – REALLY do nothing! You need to relax and let the incision heal so you don't get scar tissue!

  21. Staci August 6, 2009

What a cutie! Congrats! I hope you are both getting lots of rest!

  29. Ms. Latina August 6, 2009

Yay! God bless your beautiful addition and YOU!

Try to take it easy and not do too much too quickly. When I had Prince, my 8 yr old, my C-section stitches broke twice because I pushed myself (Hard not to as a Mom) so try to take it easy AND rest!
