The Healthy Moms Editor Unscripted

I’m not very good at this “vlogging” thing, but I thought I would give it one more try. Please watch this short four minute video and tell me what you think. Do I have what it takes to enter the world of vlogging? Would you rather watch short videos of me talking in my annoying husky female voice or read my long but informative articles? I want to know! If you like The Healthy Moms Editor Unscripted I will gladly do more of this.

Hi! I left you some tips on Twittermoms when I followed the link from your tweet.

You don't have to dress up – or shower 'cause the camera doesn't smell, but you will want to be comfortable. If fixing your hair and face makes you feel more comfortable than do it. If you're fine without than don't!

I have lots of vlogging tips at my site.

Nobody's judging you! Just be yourself! I think a mix of articles and vlogs would be good.

You're braver than I am. I haven't done one yet.

Thanks, Jendi and Blueviolet. I needed positive comments like yours! I think I might give this vlogging thing a shot.

It takes courage to vlog and it does get easier. My suggestion is to have a specific message in mind and not just ramble. I think it's best to mix it up between written posts and videos.

I find demonstrations videos are easy to do.

Definitely be yourself…you did fine. I hate to vlog. It takes me forever because I try to get it perfect. Which I am not.

You go girl! That would make me nervous to do, but you did it! i would assume it would only get easier as you have a planned presentation…I would say look at the camera and show off those beautiful blue eyes!!

I felt the same way when I started vlogging about looking down. I have to look into the camera and not at my self on the screen. I think it also has to be what you wnat to do. If you will like to sit in your jammies do it. I'm always into themes. So, maybe like healthy Moms as they are series. etc. I'm not an expert by no means but we all have creativity. Great ob keep it up.

Hi Cascia, I think you did great being yourself! Vlogging takes a lot of courage, kudos to you. I just started challenging myself to 30 days of vlogs and I'm fairly new at it too. There are some great tips from your commenters that I'll have to check out. Have a great day!

I found you through Twitter Moms and believe me your doing absolutely great. I am also vlogging and it is not easy. It is about being comfortable and just be yourself and by doing that your readers will just love it. I was quite nervous with my first vlog but after looking back at it, i was a little more comfortable. Take a look at some of my food vlogs and if you have any questions you want to ask me, I will be happy do help out. But by the look of your vlog, I will definitely come back. You did an awesome job in my book. Thanks again and have a great day.
