Kidz ZonePerfect® – Nutrition for Active Kids

https://apis.google.com/js/plusone.js
Kidz Zone Perfect Peanut Butter Chocolate ChipDuring the spring and summer months my kids spend a lot of time outdoors participating in sports, riding their  bikes, swimming and going on family walks.  In order to maintain that activity level and build strong muscles it is important that children have plenty of lean protein in their diets.  As a busy mom I don’t always have time to prepare a nutritious snack for my kids.  I was thrilled to learn that Abbot Nutrition, the makers of Similac®, PediaSure® and Ensure®, have introduced a new nutrition bar for kids, Kidz Zone Perfect.

Kidz ZonePerfect™ Caramel Crunch Nutrition Bar

Kidz ZonePerfect® nutrition bars combine protein, nutritious ingredients, and tasty flavors.  They are also just the right snack for busy families on the go like mine.  Kidz ZonePerfect® bars contain five grams of protein, 23 vitamins and minerals and three grams of fiber, and is available in Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip,  Caramel Crunch and Yellow Cupcake.    Most of all, my kids love them.

Kidz ZonePerfect™ Yellow Cupcake Nutrition Bar

″Over the years, the ZonePerfect® brand has focused on making great-tasting nutrition bars to fuel busy, active adult lifestyles,” states Tobe Cohen, division vice president and general manager, Performance Nutrition Abbott. “To get the right inspiration for our new children’s line, we knew we needed to get out of the kitchen and into the minds of kids. Simply put, we had to bring our big kids together with little kids. The result was brilliant: three nutritious Kidz ZonePerfect® bars in fun, youth-inspired flavors.″

Kidz ZonePerfect® is available in Target stores nationwide and in the nutrition aisle  in grocery stores, drug stores and mass merchandisers and are sold in packs of five. They can also be ordered online at www.AbbottStore.com. You can also follow Kidz ZonePerfect® on Twitter at twitter.com/zoneperfect and like them on Facebook at  Facebook.com/zoneperfect.

*Disclosure: I received a  sample of Kidz ZonePerfect nutrition bars, a lunch bag, water bottle, pens and notepad in exchange for this review.  All opinions are accurate and 100% mine.

Kids need to be fed a nutritious diet, active or dull, because this nutrition forms the base of their body.
