Fitness Friday #BlogHop #LinkUp – The Benefits of Being Healthy and Fit

Below are three of the many benefits of leading a healthy and fit lifestyle.

1. You will have a better quality of life.

Healthy and fit people sleep better and have more energy during the day. If you are well rested and have energy you will be able to do more things that you enjoy.  For moms that means you will have more energy to keep up with or play with your children. Housework is easier for those with more energy. Energy helps promote a better mood.

2. Active people enjoy a more fulfilling social life.

Participating in sports and other physical activities engages you with other people.  If you feel isolated and lonely joining a sports team will help you meet other people with your similar interests.

3. You will have less frequent doctors visits.

Leading a healthy and fit lifestyle helps protect you from obesity, heart disease and diabetes.  Sedentary people are more prone to catching viruses and illnesses that are going around. 

If you want to have energy and be healthy and happy eat clean foods and participate in an hour of physical activity at least five days a week.
