Coloring Books for Adults Ease Stress
The life of a busy mom is stressful. According to the American Psychological Association, more likely than men (28 percent vs. 20 percent) to report having a great deal of stress (8, 9 or 10 on a 10-point scale). This comes at no surprise due to the fact that women tend to have a lot more responsibilities than men. We are the main caretakers of the household, taxi drivers for our children, money managers, head chef, head maid, and some of us carry the weight of a full-time job or career on top of everything else.
Managing my stress levels is very important to me. To deal with stress I exercise regularly, read books, play games on my phone or Kindle, take warm baths and pray daily. Recently, I discovered a new way to ease stress.
Coloring Books for Adults Ease Stress
Adults who love to color or are in need to relieve some stress at a busy corporate office will love the new coloring book for adults, “Reverie: A Coloring Retreat” by Mysha Denson. This amazing coloring book, will help you relax your mind and color with your kids, your family, or even your boss!
This new coloring book by Mysha Denson was appropriately named “Reverie” which is “a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts.” This should be added to your colection of coloring books for adults.
This book features a series of delightful Church-themed illustrations including the Garden of Eden, the Sacred Grove, and LDS symbols and sayings, all ready to be turned into beautiful works of art. Although, I am not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I found the images in this book very beautiful. By using this book I’ve learned that coloring books for adults do help ease stress.
The Reverie: A Coloring Retreat book is available to purchase on Amazon.com and anywhere books are sold.
MYSHA DENSON not only inherited over-lapping toes from her dad but also a deep desire to create. She was blessed to have parents who supported her in her creative endeavors her entire life by providing her tools, cameras, and raw goods. Mysha met her husband Jason at Utah State University, who knew she was majoring in art and married her anyway. He has continually supported and encouraged her in her artistic pursuits for the last decade and has never once complained when there are piles of sawdust or art supplies on the table instead of dinner. The majority of Mysha’s right brain is now used for creating dress-ups, personalized coloring pages, and room decor on demand for her three daughters.
