Explorer Cat – #WordlessWednesday with #linky on a Tuesday

Explorer Cat

Explorer Cat 2

Explorer Cat

Now that summer is in full swing and the weather is nice, Glenda the Good Feline is enjoying exploring the great outdoors.  We like to make sure our pets stay healthy and safe while outside, by getting their annual check up at the Vet’s, protecting them from fleas and ticks and watching them carefully so they don’t run off or get hit by a car.  Glenda also loves to climb up trees. Fortunately, she is a smart cat and knows how to climb down.

Do you let your pets outside? How do you keep your pets safe and healthy during summer?

Aww! Glenda looking very cute hehe!

It’s winter here and we’re trying to keep three dogs healthy in winter! Too wet some days to let them out and with the wet and cold it’s hard to get their walks in.

Awww… Such a pretty cat!! : ) I do love my two boys (cats) Oliver and Ian. They are a cute bunch of trouble makers, but well worth the effort!

I don’t have pets / cats, but have contemplated getting one. I’ve mostly lived in apartments so think I’d have to get an inside cat.

  • Deborah/Mom2Michael , June 28, 2016

My cats have always been outdoor cats. I’m careful to be sure their shots are up to date and they are protected from fleas, licensed, etc. One of my cats actually used to look both ways before crossing the street. She was super smart! My current guy is 17 and not as smart, but he never really bothers to leave the back yard, so we’re good.

    I am a catless person. Sob! 🙂

I love cats – we have five explorer cats (well 4 we own and 1 feral cat who owns us from a hissing distance)
We see them jump the farm fences and go off into the grass a bit.
    Thanks for linking up.

You are so lucky in the weather front. We are not so lucky in here as its raining non stop in the last days just when summer started.

Great to see she has a bell to keep the wildlife safe too 🙂 We used to have a cat that looked a lot like yours.

  • Cascia Talbert , June 29, 2016

She knows how to sneak up on the birds without her bell making noise. She’s a pretty smart cat. Thanks for stopping by, Alicia. Have a great day!

I hope the weather clears up for you soon, Merlinda. Thanks for stopping by!

We used to rent and were not allowed to have pets without paying extra. A year ago we purchased a home, so now we are able to have pets. Our cat has become a part of our family. Thanks for stopping by, Deborah. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Cats can be trouble makers, but a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by, Charles. Have a great day!

  • Emily , June 29, 2016

Cute! I love a black cat. We used to have one, he was not an outside cat though.

  • Colette S , June 29, 2016

We will not let our cats out again.
We lost ours that way many years now.
    We still grieve.

  • Leanne @ Deep Fried Fruit , July 2, 2016

    That’s definitely an explorer cat!
Thanks for joining the Lovin’ Life Linky last week!
