Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil : Is There a Difference?

As more states pass laws to legalize recreational marijuana CBD products are becoming more popular. It even comes in appetizing products like Cbd Candy. Also known as cannabidiol, CBD oil is used to treat anxiety, cognition, movement disorders, and pain.  One of the 113 identified cannabinoids in cannabis plants is cannaidiol. If you plan on starting a business with these products, then Garrity Insurance can help you stay safe and if you want to learn more about the products you are going to be selling then you should think about taking a look at the marijuana directory

Hemp Oil, CBD and Marijuana – What are They Really?

Many people get confused about the differences between these three.  They all come from the same plant, Cannabis sativa, but they are different.  They are just fancy names for different cannabinoids found in the plant.  Marijuana comes from the cannabinoid THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).  This chemical can give you psychedelic effects and activate the neurons in your brain that create a psychoactive high.

CBD comes from the cannabinoid cannabidiol. This does not give you the same psychedelic effects as THC.  You can not get high from CBD.  Hemp plants contain cannabidiol.

What is the difference between Hemp Plants and Marijuana Plants?

As previously stated, hemp and marijuana come from the same plant, Cannabis sativa. The difference between the two is the levels of THC.  Marijuana is just another name for Cannabis plants with 5 to 20 percent THC, hemp distillate contains no more than 0.3 percent (by dry weight) of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).  The chemical THC is what makes marijuana a drug and illegal in most states. Without THC, hemp is less harmful and therefore legal in all 50 states. Now we will return back to our original question.

Hemp Oil vs CBD Oil : Is There a Difference?

I was unable to determine the answer to this. If the product states, “hemp oil extract,” that is exactly what the ingredients label will say. If you take a look at a bottle of CBD oil the ingredients will state how many milligrams of cannabidiol is in the bottle. Our theory is that the two are very different. Hemp oil is probably the extract from the hemp plant minus the cannabidiol.

Can Hemp Oil Products Help you the Same Way as CBD?

Hemp oil manufacturers claim that their products soothe pain, ease anxiety and give you a better night’s sleep. CBD oil has the research that proves the same claims. If they are different who is right?

I haven’t found very many positive CBD oil reviews.  One gentleman was told that CBD could help him sleep better at night.  CBD oil infused gummies did not improve his sleep. A young woman heard that CBD could help her with menstrual cramps and anxiety.  After using several different CBD oil products she did not notice a difference you can learn more here.

My experience with hemp oil was very similar.
