How do you find time to workout?

I write down my fitness schedule in my planner but I don't always stick with it. Usually something comes up, either I have a sick kid, bad weather (I like to go running), or a last minute appointment or meeting is scheduled. What can I do to stay motivated to actually get off of my butt and exercise? Putting it in my planner is not working.

The best advice I can give you is to wake up a little earlier and workout right away in the morning. If you are not a morning person schedule your workout right after you get home from work or home from picking up your children from school. Make sure you schedule it and commit to your schedule.
